On March 7 the indie band Beach House released an official music video for their song "Wishes" on the band's YouTube channel. The video was directed by Eric Wareheim and it stars actor Ray Wise ("Battleground," "Reaper") as a sport's coach. You can watch Beach Houses's official "Wishes" music video below.
The video begins with actor Ray Wise walking onto a sports field. He holds a microphone up to his mouth and begins to sing "Wishes," but it is not his voice singing, it is Beach House's Victoria Legrand. The rest of the video features cheerleaders dancing, the crowd inside the stadium, and a team playing a bizarre sport that involves squirting water bottles, doing flips, and ripping each others clothes off.
The song "Wishes" is a track from Beach House's fourth studio album, "Bloom". The album was released on May 15, 2012 via Sub Pop Records and it debuted at No. 7 on the U.S. Billboard 200 chart.
