With 2014 fast approaching everyone is making their goals, setting their deadlines and getting everything in place to kick off January 1st with a bang... are you ready?
Starting at the beginning of the year has never been the best approach in anything for most people but for some people it is exactly the type of motivation that they need, a completely fresh start... with that said, whether your approach is to change your eating habits, workout, eat less fast food, drink less soda...changing just one aspect is a really great way to kick off a fresh start, you can always ease other aspects into your goals but if you start with one very specific goal you will have the best ability at sticking to it and not getting discouraged then if you change everything all at one time.
Setting the ultimate goal of "weight loss" might lead you into failure, setting a more general goal of working out three times a week, drinking a gallon of water a day...these little things that all aid in weight loss is a very good place to start even if losing weight is your ultimate goal... start slow and celebrate every milestone that you achieve, you will find that in no time you will adding onto your goal with a higher rate of success and seeing the changes that you are aiming for.
