Luke’s Wings, a charity dedicated to flying the families of wounded soldiers to their bedside, is throwing their major event of the year at Long View Gallery this Wednesday the 20th. I know you hear about a million charity events all over D.C. that range from a $5 cover to a $150 ticket and beyond, but I promise this event will break away from the norm. From 8-10 pm, attendees will be offered a unique opportunity to donate to Luke's Wings and attend an event where you can actually see how your contribution is making a difference. The main focus of the event is a high-end fashion show with several veterans and service members walking the runway along with NYC models. There will also be a silent auction, great food, top shelf bars, and a private after party at Tattoo Bar. Not only will service members be in the fashion show, but also service members from the Walter Reed Medical Center will be in attendance at the event to help promote this charity. This event will be fantastic, don’t miss out!

- The first 50 uniformed service members get in (general admission for free)
- There will be a "Service Member's Only" Bar for easy access to drinks for our active duty men and women
- Access to the Designer Trunk show and Jewelry exhibits will be given during the VIP Reception for a full hour before general admission ticket holders get a chance to purchase from the racks

This looks awesome! I attended last year and it was fantastic, great drinks, great food, and for a really awesome cause. Definitely plan on bringing a big group this year!
