Be guilt free and eco friendly too

Thinking about throwing a dinner party? When a party is thrown usually we pull out or purchase a paper tablecloth and use a stack of paper napkins. The reason is that these products are disposable. The tablecloth may have a theme or pattern on it but the napkins are usually the bulk package at the grocery store.

One way of making the get-together more festive and fancy is to use cloth napkins and table covers. MYdrap is a new name brand product available online for purchase. These table linens are eco-friendly and will make your party GO GREEN!

They are made from 100% cotton. This line is recyclable, reusable – washable and even biodegradable. This is something new and unheard of, right? Well not anymore. MYdrap has a line that includes napkins, tablecloths, cocktail napkins, coasters, table runners and placemats. They come in 19 gorgeous colors and four beautiful gingham patterns.

One other unique feature is that this line comes in every size that you would want for your entertaining needs. MYdrap came out with the best way to package these cloth items. It is easy for them to ship to you as well as making it easy to store them in your cupboards, pantry or kitchen drawers. Each set comes on a roll. All you have to do is count the number of; let’s say napkins that are needed and tear along the perforation marks and store the roll for future use. Watch the video below and see for yourself how Mydrap can change the way you dress your dinner table.

Let’s Go Green for our next party and spread the word about a new and exciting eco-friendly way to dress your table in style!

  • I love this article, Beverly, such a great idea. Go green! Personally, I have always loved setting my tables with cloth and china, especially if it is to entertain a small group. But having a larger party is another story. I think the idea of Mydrap is fantastic!

Hi Beverly, love the information on the eco-friendly napkins, I will have to look into these. Unfortunately I usually use paper since we usually hold functions that are less formal. Re-usable napkins are the way to go, great article!

I love this...cloth napkins are so lovely. Honestly, I would love if parents would teach their little ones to use any kind of napkin...this would be a great post on twittermoms.com. Let us all pass this along.

Great link. Thanks for the info. BTW the comment by Joseph Nagy misses the point. It takes energy to manufacture and recycle paper napkins and they are not typically recycled after they are used. Cloth napkins must be laundered but the savings come because new ones do not need to be manufactured to replace the old ones after every use.

I enjoy using my cloth napkins and tablecloths. It's so suprising how people are afraid to use them when they come over to dinner. I also use placemate and 'charger plates' during the holidays ;) Thanks for hanging in there Beverly.
