Bring some Irish luck this March 17 and month of March to the German Shepherd Rescue of Orange County (GSROC). German Shepherds have been heroes to mankind since the breed was developed in 1899 in their native Germany. Unfortunately, some German Shepherds need human heroes to rescue them out of desperate situations. Consider paying back the breed. The details on the fundraiser are as follows:
GSROC hopes to raise $6500 during the month of March, 2013. If we are successful, an anonymous benefactor will match that amount. We are so excited about this possibility! So many deserving dogs will be able to be saved and receive the care they need.
In order to be successful, we need your help! All we have to do is raise $6500 between between March 1 and March 31, and a kind donor will match that amount dollar for dollar. . No matter how large or small your donation is, it will go twice as far if we are successful.
Please help us by making a donation! You can donate online with a credit card via our First Giving page, http://www.firstgiving.com/fundraiser/gsroc/marchmadness2013:
All donations are secure and sent directly to German Shepherd Rescue of Orange County by FirstGiving, who will email you a printable record of your donation.

No donation is too small but, in my humble opinion, German Shepherds are the Mercedes-Benz of canines. I have had dog pals of different breeds but my "liebe" (love) for my heart breed has stayed with me since childhood.
