BCS bowl projections 2013: Oklahoma wins, shifts BCS bowl games for 2013

BCS bowl projections for 2013 just shifted again. With Oklahoma beating Oklahoma State, the 2013 BCS bowl projections have to now include the victorious Sooners. An updated report from CBS on Saturday (Dec. 7) indicates that there is a new likely match-up for the 2014 Sugar Bowl. That match-up is Oklahoma vs. Auburn, provided the Tigers end up winning the SEC Championship Game on Saturday.

SEC Championship Game Coverage

The updated predictions still have Florida State vs.Ohio State in the college football championship. The Seminoles will try to win the ACC on Saturday over Duke in what could be a lop-sided affair. The Buckeyes will try to win the Big Ten as well, but they go up against a very tough Michigan Spartans team at Lucas Oil Stadium. If an upset takes place in either game, though, it could stir up how things shake out over the weekend.

The other bowl match-ups are predicted to be Clemson vs. Alabama in the Orange Bowl, Baylor vs. Central Florida in the Fiesta Bowl, and Michigan State vs. Stanford in the Rose Bowl. It's very noteworthy that there are several conferences in line to get two schools into the big bowl games. Regarding the Rose Bowl, Stanford still has to beat Arizona State in the Pac-12 Championship Game to get that invite.

The 2013 BCS bowl projections will be cleared up even further by the end of play Saturday night, even though the at-large bids are still to be debated by the selection committee of each major bowl.
