The 2013 BCS bowl game schedule begins with Wisconsin vs. Stanford in the Rose Bowl. The biggest five bowl games of the season kick off on Tuesday (Jan. 1), all leading up to the BCS National Championship Game on Jan. 7.
After the Rose Bowl takes place on ESPN, the Orange Bowl will be played with Florida State and Northern Illinois taking center stage. This is a game projected to be quite lopsided on the scoreboard, but don't tell that to the kids from Illinois looking to make a statement.
The Sugar Bowl comes up on Wednesday (Jan. 2) with Florida vs. Louisville and the Fiesta Bowl is played on Thursday (Jan. 3) with Kansas State vs. Oregon. Then next Monday (Jan. 70, its Notre Dame vs. Alabama to decide which team is going to take home the college football championship.
All of the big games will receive national coverage, with the networks spacing out the games to try to build up the excitement. Notre Dame is trying to win its first title in years, while Alabama is trying to win their third title in just four seasons.
