Ruby Tuesdays on a Tuesday, it was nice and the food was delicious, but the service was a bit slow. The recession is affecting everyone even the places you go out to eat at. Upon entering the restaurant, the hostess greets you with a warm welcome and then lets you know that they are short on staff, so you will have to wait 15-20 minutes for a table. The waitress I forgot her name, but she was nice and sweet and overwhelmed. Service was not terrible though because the waitress had a wonderful attitude and was making us laugh. It wasn’t busy busy, but there was a shortage on servers, which had to be taken into consideration.
BBQ Ribs with cheesy mashed potatoes and a side of broccoli sounds great. The ribs were delicious, when you touched it with your fork the meat literally fell off the bones, for the most part. Some parts of it were a little hard, but most of it was soft and moist. I love the BBQ sauce they use, they call it tangy, and I call it sweet and spicy. It’s not spicy as in hot where’s the water at or sweet as in is there sugar in this, but it is a nice blend of spices. I’m not a fan of cheesy mashed potatoes, but these potatoes make you want to change your mind about it and dig in. Instead of cheddar cheese in it, it has white cheddar, which is milder than cheddar cheese (orange cheddar). The broccoli was fine with water, butter, and seasoning on it. Looking at the Nutrition value of the meal, it is not bad; you can definitely tell that some changes have been made to the menu. Hungry and ready to eat out, don’t forget about Ruby Tuesdays, it’s a really good option to consider.
