BBC 6 Music in the United Kingdom is set to broadcast highlights from the Rolling Stones' 1973 tour as part of the radio network's "Classic Concert" series hosted by Chris Hawkins. The one-hour radio special is set to air at 2 a.m. on November 27, 2010. According to a listing o the BBC 6 Music website, songs included in the program include "Tumbling Dice," "Brown Sugar" and "Midnight Rambler."
The radio special is among the Rolling Stones concert programming that is set to air in the United States during the week of November 22, 2010. As previously reported, the syndicated radio special "The Rolling Stones Thanksgiving Banquet," featuring live music from the band's 1972 tour, will be broadcast on stations across the United States, with most of the stations airing the program on Thanksgiving Day or the Thanksgiving holiday weekend (November 25, 26, 27, and 28, 2010).
The TV networks VH1, VH1 Classic and Palladia are also airing Rolling Stones concert programming during Thanksgiving week in the United States. On November 24, 25, and 26, 2010, the networks are set to televise the Rolling Stones documentaries "Shine a Light," "Let's Spend the Night Together," "Ladies and Gentlemen: The Rolling Stones" and "In Rehearsal: The Rolling Stones at Montreaux."
