"Big Brother 15" continued Aug. 17 via the hit reality show's live feeds. With the next live eviction set for Aug. 22 on CBS, the results of the late-afternoon power of veto competition all but guaranteed a change in the week's nominees.
House guests chosen to compete in the competition, which was hosted by Amanda Zuckerman, included four time head of household Aaryn Gries, eviction nominees Helen Kim and Elissa Slater, and a trio of randomly selected players comprised of Andy Herren, GinaMarie Zimmerman and Spencer Clawson.
When the dust finally settled, it was Slater, the younger sister of "BB13" winner Rachel Reilly, who emerged the victor. Slater will no doubt use the power of veto to remove herself from the block, leaving Kim, who is the biggest remaining threat to virtual puppet master Zuckerman's game, the probable target for eviction and forcing Gries to choose a different "BB15" house guest to take her place. The most likely candidate is Clawson, who like Slater has no strong allies in the house and is largely expendable to the other players.
Reilly tweeted excitement over Slater's win shortly after the competition, exclaiming "OMG #BB15 yaaaaaaaay."
"Big Brother 15" continues Aug. 18 on CBS.
