Bayou Country Superfest announces 2014 music lineup

The Bayou Country Superfest organization announced the 2014 music lineup during a press conference held this morning (Oct. 30) at Tiger Stadium, Louisiana State University for the 2014 Bayou Country Superfest.

Bayou Country Superfest 2014 will mark the fifth year of the festival and will be attracting thousands of country music fans from all over the world with George Strait, Luke Bryan and Jason Aldean headlining the Memorial Day weekend music festival (May 23-25, 2014).

The festival also expands from a two day festival to a three day event in 2014 with the addition of George Strait on Friday to kick off the weekend festival. This will be one of Strait's final concert appearances.

Tickets will go on sale on November 5, 2013 for the concert series via Ticketmaster. Bayou Country Superfest has partnered with The Renaissance hotel in Baton Rouge for travel package deals that will include tickets to the festival, hotel accommodations, and other "goodies."
