The program -- held during the popular, two-day racing festival -- will begin at noon on the island, 1600 Vacation Road in San Diego.
Got Your 6, Blue Star Families and Wells Fargo will host the event, "complete with exclusive access to a hospitality tent, offering a prime view for race spectators," along with free refreshments and lunch, meet-and-greet opportunties with top drivers and prize packages, according to organizers.
Event speakers will include Chris Marvin, managing director of Got Your 6; Dan Adams, president and San Diego business banking area manager, Wells Fargo; and Noeleen Tillman, managing director of Blue Star Families.
In conjunction, Wells Fargo will offer military families financial education lessons.
A non-profit, nationally recognized organization, Got Your 6 describes one of its goals as working to "change the conversation" about veterans and their families, so they can "be seen as civic assets and leaders who will reinvigorate our community."
Blue Star Families, another nonprofit, is a national network by and for military families from all branches, and is dedicated to supporting, connecting and empowering them.
A two-day event devoted to all types of boat racing -- including Grand Prix West, POPRA and H1 Unlimited -- he San Diego Bayfair features activities for children, musical acts, and food and beverages.
