The Bay to Breakers 12K race in San Francisco celebrated its 99th year last Sunday in San Francisco, CA. It is one of the world's larges and oldest footraces in the world. The name describes the race course which leads from the northeast end of the downtown area near the Embarcaders (the "bay" side of the cit) to the west end of the city and the "breakers" of Ocean Beach.
Some people go for the parties, and yes, some even complete the race for exercise. However to fully engage and become part of the Bay to Breakers experience, you have to dress-up, let yourself go, and have fun in the moment. Click the link below to see photos of many people who did just that:
