Heartwarming devotion to family embellished by hilarious classic moments make up ‘Cheaper by the Dozen,’ a wonderful play based on the autobiographical novel of the same name about the extraordinary Gilbreth family.
Running the Gilbreth household has never more challenging for strict father, Frank Bunker Gilbreth’s daily attempts to take the reins of a household of twelve children. His unconventional and humorous tactics lead to unexpected misadventures as his children grow up. However, through it all, their love for one another is what brings true meaning to one author's statement, "Other things may change, but we start and end with family."
Directed by Theresa Chaisson, Bay Players of Duxbury proudly present the family classic, ‘Cheaper by the Dozen’ for two consecutive weekend shows on Fridays and Saturdays October 18, 19, 25, and 26 at 7:30 p.m. A matinee performance will be held on Saturday, October 26 at 3 p.m. All shows take place at First Parish Church, 842 Tremont Street (Rte 3A) in Duxbury, Massachusetts.
