Arlene Barshinger is not a household name…yet!
But there is nothing stopping the talented San Francisco based actress, writer, producer, radio host, and mother of three from becoming one.
The 41 year old German-Korean beauty has been a strong supporter of her son’s dream of acting and film-making.
Now it’s her turn, and it began earlier this year.
2012 was huge for Barshinger!
The 5’6” model and photographer’s true talent was revealed, and she landed several acting roles – she played a club goer in the feature film “Betrayal” being released today (New Year’s Eve) and landed a role in the TV series “Leap Year” as a college student in two episodes.
Barshinger is involved in other productions currently filming including as a producer for “Predatory Lender,” a Jim Meyer film, and she plays a leading role in a new fictional Web series, "The Lobbyist," that is set to be filmed in Sacramento.
Rumor has it, Barshinger will also make a music video with the Sacramento based rock band Long in the Tooth.
Additionally, the lovely lady is entertainment reporter on the radio show “N the Queue” with cohost Mark A. Johnston
Cast in two other films in that will be filming in 2013 - "China White" and a comedy short, "Air Biscuit," the daughter of a military couple and wife of a military officer manages her family and career with ease .
Barshinger is represented by talent agent Beverly Brock of the Brock Agency.
