Electronic Arts confirmed many of the games it will be showing during its E3 2014 media event on Monday, June 9. Gamers will be able to get a good look at games like “Battlefield Hardline,” “Dragon Age: Inquisition,” the yearly sports titles plus all new titles from DICE, Criterion and Waystone Games.

The Electronic Arts E3 presentation will start on Monday at 3:00 p.m. EDT / 12:00 p.m. PDT and can be viewed either through Spite TV or streamed via Twitch on www.ea.com/e3. Additionally, Visceral Games will host an hour long live stream event for “Battlefield Hardline” on Twitch.tv/Battlefield at 4:00 p.m. EDT / 1:00 p.m. PDT.

The new title from DICE is expected to be “Star Wars: Battlefront.” A CGI teaser trailer was revealed during last year’s E3 press conference and the game is expected to launch in the fall of 2015 to take advantage of the hype surrounding “Star Wars: Episode VII.”

Electronics Arts picked up the rights to make AAA games based on the “Star Wars” franchise after George Lucas sold LucasArts to Disney as part of a package for all of LucasFilm. Other Star Wars games are expected to come from BioWare and Visceral Games but it doesn’t appear they will be ready for this year’s E3 unless a surprise appearance is made.

Meanwhile, Criterion Games is best known for its work on the “Need for Speed” and “Burnout” series. The studio has gone through some troubled times over the past year as much of the staff was cut to only a couple of dozen in 2013 and then co-founders Alex Ward and Fiona Sperry left the company to in January of this year to form a new studio.

Prior to their departure, Criterion indicated that it planned to move away from racing games to try its hands at other genres. What that means for E3 remains to be seen.

Waystone Games is the developer behind the free-to-play MOBA title, “Dawngate.” What it has planned for E3 is a complete mystery.
