'Battlefield 4' to bring new Chinese flavor to series, PS4 & Xbox 720 pending (Photos)

"Battlefield 4" is going to be revealed in a matter of days, and with the series expected to hit the PS4 and Xbox 720, things look like they may be headed to Shanghai for this next installment.

According to a report from VG24/7 on Saturday, "Battlefield 4" has been confirmed to be making an appearance on March 26th at the Game Developers Conference in San Francisco.

Not only has the game been confirmed for announcement, but it also looks like the new setting for the game will be Shanghai, China.

Some of the leaked artwork for the event has images of what looks like Shanghai, and this would be a new, interesting place for this installment to take place at.

The tower building looks very similar to the actual Oriental Pearl Radio and TV Tower that is currently located in Shanghai. All will be known officially soon enough.

Recently, EA game label president Frank Gibeau said the company will bring a new game next year, but can't say more quite yet.

"We have a 'Battlefield' title coming next year, but we're not in a position right now to talk about our development plans and our SKU plan long term.

"That will come in about 90 days when we get to show you some 'Battlefield' stuff," Gibeau said.

That day is coming on March 26th for "Battlefield 4."

Many people are expecting this game to be announced for the Xbox 720 and PS4, so it's also only a matter of time until "Battlefield 4" is confirmed for both.
