‘Battlefield 4’ rumored PS4 and Xbox 720 screens revealed; clarification posted (Photos)

Several rumored screenshots have appeared online in regards to the upcoming multiplatform video game, “Battlefield 4,” which is coming to the PS4 and Xbox 720. According to a report by DSOGaming on March 11, the images in question are not from the sequel. Instead the pictures were taken from the cinematic trailer of “Battlefield 3.” You can check out the fake screens of “Battlefield 4,” as well as several shots from “Battlefield 3,” in the slideshow at the top of this article.

The PS4 and Xbox 720 next-generation consoles will be released in North America later this year.

“Battlefield 4” is expected to be announced during an event on March 26. The first-person shooter is current being developed by Digital Illusions Creative Entertainment, the same studio that was also responsible for the aforementioned “Battlefield 3.” In addition to the PS4 and Xbox 720 next-generation systems, Electronic Arts will be releasing the sequel for the PC, PS3 and Xbox 360 platforms.
