‘Battlefield 4’ PS4 and Xbox 720 pre-order sales discussed by Electronic Arts

Electronic Arts, the company responsible for publishing the upcoming PS4 and Xbox 720 video game, “Battlefield 4,” has provided some comments in regards to its pre-order sales. According to a prepared statement from their earnings call on May 7, the publisher disclosed that “Battlefield” fans have demonstrated their support for the sequel. As a result, the pre-order sales for the fourth numbered entry in the series is said to be “going extremely well.” You can take a look at the latest screenshots from the first-person shooter in the slideshow at the top of this article.

Battlefield 4” is being built on the Frostbite 3 game engine that is made specifically for next-generation platforms like the PS4 and Xbox 720. Electronic Arts will also be releasing the title on the PC, PS3 and Xbox 360 platforms.

Digital Illusions Creative Entertainment is currently developing “Battlefield 4” with a release date set sometime later this autumn season in the North American region.
