Tommy Rydling has provided a new update in regards to the numerous “Battlefield 4” issues. According to a report from BF4 Central on Jan. 10, the product manager at Digital Illusions Creative Entertainment disclosed that the next patch is currently being finalized with an expected release date scheduled for later this month. Just a short note that we are finalizing the next game update for multiple platforms, aiming to release them later this month.
Tommy Rydling also defended Digital Illusions Creative Entertainment, even though his company has been heavily criticized for the handling of the latest “Battlefield” installment. At the same time, he admitted that “some players are experiencing issues with the game,” adding that some platforms may have more problems than others. The product manager finally stated that their first priority is to iron out these bugs. You can find a few “Battlefield 4” screens in the slideshow to the left of this article and the comments below:
We at DICE have a long tradition of supporting our games and our community well after the release of a title. While millions of players are enjoying Battlefield 4, we are aware that some players are experiencing issues with the game. While some platforms have had only minor problems, others have had more than their fair share of issues. Resolving these is our #1 priority.
The next patch will be released for multiple systems although the development team did not provide any more specific details. The PS4 version of “Battlefield 4,” which came out on Nov. 15, seems to be suffering the most with several crashes and glitches.
In addition to Sony’s next-generation system, the first-person shooter also came out for the PC, PS3, Xbox 360 and Xbox One. The software product was developed from the Digital Illusions Creative Entertainment studio.
