After three days of "exclusive" access, the Battlefield 4 beta opened up to all PS3, Xbox 360 and PC players Friday.
The Battlefield 4 open beta is now available to download from EA's Origins service, Xbox LIVE and should be available on the PSN Store by 11 a.m. PST. It's an approximately 1.5 GB download on the consoles and nearly a 6 GB download for the PC so plan your storage space and time accordingly.
The beta will run through Oct. 15 and feature only the Siege of Shanghai map with the Conquest and Domination gametypes that support up to 24 players on consoles and 64 players on PC. For full details on the beta, be sure to check out this multiplayer beta prep article.
Battlefield 4 officially launches for the PS3, Xbox 360 and PC on Oct. 29 with the PS4 and Xbox One releases coming alongside the launches of those consoles.
