Is Battlefield 4 for the PS4, Xbox One, Xbox 360, PS3 and PC fixed? It must be because DICE announced Friday that the Naval Strike DLC will be released in March for Premium members.

Battlefield 4: Naval Strike will focus on water-based combat with four new maps set in the South China Sea. This is the official description of the four maps from DICE.

Blow open a crashed passenger plane and capture fishing villages across the tropical Lost Islands. Drop a submarine on your foes as you infiltrate a naval base or rush between shipping docks and rocky islands on the massive Wave Breaker map. Wage war across stormy seas in the largest ocean stretch in a Battlefield map yet with Nansha Strike. Storm an abandoned cliff-side resort, or get lost in the breathtaking vistas in Operation Mortar.

New weapons and gadgets will be introduced as well as new vehicles like the two-person amphibious hovercraft that can travel over water and ground. Additionally, the DLC will add the Carrier Assault game mode which is a re-imagining of the Battlefield 2142's Titan Mode. In the original mode, the objective is to destroy the opposing team's Titan (an assault carrier) by either capturing certain points inside the carrier or destroying it's central core.

DICE and Electronic Arts announced last December that it was suspending work on additional DLC for Battlefield 4 in order to fix the game's numerous bugs and server problems. Today's announcement appears to confirm that the developer is confident enough in the game's current state to resume the release of additional content.

Naval Strike will be released first to Battlefield 4 Premium Members on the PS4, PS3, Xbox One, Xbox 360 and PC in late March followed by everyone else two weeks later.
