With the first next generation console finally revealed, this being Sony's PS4, many publishers are coming forward with statements regarding next generation projects that they are currently working on. In regards to this, EA released a blog post on Feb. 21 that discussed developments behind one of their major franchises, “Battlefield 4.”
With this being said, it has been officially confirmed that “Battlefield 4” will be appearing on next generation consoles, the PS4 and Microsoft's next-gen system. Speaking of the way this title is going, EA said that they showcased “Battlefield 4” to 500 store managers at a GameStop meeting earlier this week.
“We’ve been investing and innovating on new technology for months. Console partners who have seen our early work agree, EA’s next-gen software is nothing short of astonishing. At a GameStop company meeting earlier this week, we gave 500 store managers a sneak peak at Battlefield 4.”
With this type of talk streaming from the next installment to the “Battlefield” franchise, “Battlefield 4,” fans of this franchise should be excited to see what type of content this title delivers on. EA recently stated that they will be showing “Battlefield 4” to the public in the coming months, but we do not have a specific date as of yet.
