Electronic Arts has revealed some of their plans for the upcoming GamesCom 2013 event. According to a report by the Bioware Social Network on Aug. 19, the publisher is planning to hold a press conference to showcase their upcoming software lineup. The media briefing is expected to begin on Aug. 20 at 7:00 am PST.
Most of the focus will be on “Battlefield 4.” Digital Illusions Creative Entertainment will be showing off a new gameplay mode and multiplayer map for the PC, PS3, PS4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One first-person shooting video game. Furthermore, the premium contents of “Battlefield 4” will also be showcased.
Another big title (especially in Europe) that will be released by Electronic Arts later this year is “FIFA 14.” Gameplay from both the current-generation and next-generation versions will be featured in the company’s GamesCom 2013 press conference. The same game is also rumored to be a free pack-in for every Xbox One launch system being sold in European countries.
Electronic Arts will also be providing a first look at “The Sims 4” in addition to providing more details on the “Command & Conquer,” “Need For Speed Rivals,” “Plants vs. Zombies Garden Warfare” and “UFC” video games.
The GamesCom 2013 event will officially begin on Aug. 21. Several of the aforementioned video games should be playable for the general public during the four-day long convention. You can check some screenshots featuring “Battlefield 4” in the slideshow near the top of this article.
