Digital Illusions Creative Entertainment may be planning eight new modes for the multiplayer of the recently-released multiplatform video game, “Battlefield 4.” According to a report from Softpedia on Dec. 30, a player revealed that he discovered the match types on the servers while digging through the title’s data files.
The new modes include a tank-only battle along with the potential returns of co-op missions, scavenger and squad rush. The upcoming DLC appears to come with several new match types, such as sport and gun master, as well. Players may have to wait for some time before they will be able to play the new modes in “Battlefield 4.” Digital Illusions Creative Entertainment previously announced that the development team will postpone the production of DLC and other future projects until the numerous issues plaguing the software product has been fully addressed.
“Battlefield 4” was made available first to the PC, PS3 and Xbox 360 platforms on Oct. 29, 2013. The same software product, which launched for the PS4 and Xbox One in the following month, is reportedly suffering from an abundance of problems such as crashing and connection errors.
