The Battlefield 3 open beta is running and heavily played across the Playstation 3, Xbox 360 and PC. If it's helped you make a decision on whether to buy the military shooter, then one retailer is helping out with a sale on the Limited Edition version of the game.

Newegg has Battlefield 3: Limited Edition on sale for $47.98 by using promo code 'EMCYTZT796'. This code is good on the Playstation 3, Xbox 360 and PC versions of the game.

Purchasing the Limited Edition of the Battlefield 3 ensure that you get the Back to Karkand map pack for free when it releases some time after the game's launch on October 25.
