'Battlefield 3' is giving it's final DLC a staggered release for Xbox and PS3

The word of the final downloadable content pack for "Battlefield 3" came a long time ago. Titled appropriately enough, End Game, the DLC is finally set to release for both the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3. Owners of both console should take note, the DLC is getting a staggered release.

For those of you that own the Playstation 3 and are 'Battlefield Premium' members, you'll get the last DLC on March 5. Those that are not premium members (basically season pass holders), will get the DLC on March 19.

Xbox 360 owners who are BP members will get the DLC on Tuesday, March 12. However, if you don't have the premium membership, you'll have to wait until Tuesday, March 26 to download the last map packs.

DICE gave away the info via the Battlefield Blog. They didn't however mention how much the DLC would be for those that hadn't purchased the 'Battlefield Premium' membership, although chances are it'll be priced at $14.99 or 1200 MS Points like the previous DLC packs were.

The DLC is set to introduce a new character, some new maps along with bringing motorcycles into the game as well. This will be the last DLC released for the game, which has been out over a year and half now. EA and DICE are moving onto "Battlefield 4", which will launch later this year.

"Battlefield 3" is currently available for Xbox 360, and Playstation 3 owners.
