Batting cages at Redstone Park open March 8

Grab your bat and your best bud and head on over to Batter Up! Batting Cages this weekend. Cages open Saturday at noon, weather dependent.

The Batter Up! Batting Cages at Redstone Park open for the season this weekend. Batter Up! features six cages to practice your swing ranging from baseball, fast pitch softball, to slow pitch softball. Pay for a round of balls or purchase a punch card to save money. Batter Up! is also available for half-hour and hour-long rentals. Reserve one cage for $30 per hour, or $20 per half hour.

Batter Up! is open through Oct. 31. The batting cages will open unless temperatures are below 45 degrees or in the case of high winds, snow or rain. Batter Up! hours of operation are 5 – 8:30 p.m. Monday through Friday; noon – 5 p.m. Saturday; and 1 – 8:30 p.m. Sunday. Extended hours will begin in May.
