'Batman vs. Superman' will also be named 'Dawn of Justice'

Warner Bros. announced Wednesday that 'Dawn of Justice' is the title for Batman vs. Superman -- but that's not the only thing worth buzzing.

It has been reported that Ben Affleck will get top billing, probably because the Oscar winner has been getting lots of attention -- and mixed fan response -- ever since being cast as the brooding Dark Knight/Caped Crusader.

This is despite the fact that Henry Cavill will return as Superman in director Zack Snyder's follow-up to last summer's Man of Steel.

Co-starring Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, Ray Fisher as Cyborg, Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor, and Jeremy Irons as Alfred Pennyworth, this film is supposed to be the flagship to form the Justice League, where Superman, Batman, and Wonder Woman are the heart, soul, strength, and moral compass for Earth's greatest superheroes against the forces of evil.

Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice is scheduled for release on May 6, 2016.
