It's a wonder that only a Wonder Woman actress is experiencing a filmmaking lottery win. But all fans get to celebrate the payoff.
Gal Gadot will star as DC Comics famed Amazonian in three separate movies according to a confirmation by Variety. The "Fast Five" and "Fast & Furious 6" alum came to spotlight recognition when her signing for the upcoming "Batman vs. Superman" came to headline. DC Entertainment, it seems, has greater plans in the works.
A solo movie outside showcasing DC's superhero famed Trinity will later underway in production. And if that weren't enough movie karma for Wonder Woman fans, the Israeli born actress has contract clauses to reprise Diana Prince's alter ego within a Justice League titular movie. That would not only feature the superhero Trinity poster heroes, but include Flash, Green Lantern, Aquaman and possibly Cyborg.
Gadot will succeed a portrayal for a live action Wonder Woman after Linda Carter's television stardom from 1975 to 1979. A timeline that has heightened the consternation of Wonder Woman fans, Carter included, witnessing a run of reboots for Superman and Batman alongside fresh trial debuts for Green Lantern.
Gadot has indeed hit the comics movie jackpot.
