According to Comic Book Movie on Jan. 12, it has been discovered that a scene of Zack Snyder's "Batman vs. Superman" will be shot at Camp Metamora. Warner Brothers is currently underway with preparations and filming is scheduled to start next month.
Currently, the location is vacant at the moment and currently the property is owned by the Girl Scouts. The camp buildings which had recently stood at the venue are currently torn down. There is also a scenic lake which could be thought of as a natural piece of scenery for such a filming location. The fire chief Dave Eady of the township location stated how one could picture such a venue.
“There’s a beautiful lake back there. They’re building a home for one scene. "All they’re doing is one scene there, then they’re going to tear everything down like they were never her".
Eady also went on to state that "they're already out there doing some stuff". Also, it appears everything is on the down low and once their task out there is complete, it'll be as if it never happened. The In Memory Of Camp Metamora Facebook fan page has been in a buzz about what kind of activity has been going on at the film location.
Also, a couple of months back, the new Kent Farm was being built in Yorkville, Ill. which would be the fictitious location of Smallville.
"Batman vs. Superman" is scheduled to be released on July 15, 2015.
