'Batman vs. Superman' release date moved back to 2016

CNN announced a week ago that "Batman vs. Superman" would not be premiiring in theaters on its original release date, July 17, 2015 but has now been moved up to May 16, 2016.

The official word from Warner Brothers Studios that this will give "filmmakers time to realize fully their vision, given the complex visual nature of the story".

This news is causing many fans to wonder if the momentum and excitement for the film will decrease by then especially with other Marvel films coming out before then, such as "Captain America: The Winter Soldier" this April, "X-Men: Days of Future Past" in 2014 and "The Avengers: Age of Ultron" in 2015.

But, other fans are hoping that this means that there will be more heroes added to this movie. We already have a mature Batman supposedly mentoring the younger Superman. We know that Wonder Woman is going to make an appearance and that Lex Luthor will be the bad guy. But, fans are also hoping for a Green Lantern and there is even buzz about Nightwing. Maybe the studio is trying to add time to make the movie "more".

But, either way the movie has been moved up to a release date of 2016, an entire 2 years away. and we will all be waiting to see what Warner Brothers Pictures has for us.
