Definitely in the strange news department, Batman appeared at the West Yorkshire Police Station in Great Britain, deposited a suspect and vanished into the night, according to NBC World News on March 4.
No, this is not a joke. An unkown man in a Batman costume brought in a suspect wanted for burglary in Britain. The security camera footage caught a man wearing a Batman costume, complete with gloves, cape and mask, escorting a 27-year-old burglary suspect to the police station in Bradford in northern England.
The suspect was arrested for handling stolen goods and fraud-related offenses. The caped crusader vanished into the night and did not leave a name.
"The person who brought the wanted man into the station was dressed in a full Batman outfit," a spokeswoman for West Yorkshire Police said. "His identity, however, remains unknown."
How he caught the suspect and other details have not been established yet. The police would like to know who he is. Maybe they should shine the bat signal into the night sky?
