Rocksteady has not done much over the last year in the way of releasing games, but some new information has surfaced that points to what could be the next installment in the "Batman Arkham" series, and it looks to be an Xbox 720 and PS4 title.
According to a report from NowGamer on Wednesday, with Time Warner already confirming another "Batman" iteration, more details have surfaced that point to it being a next-generation title.
Rocksteady Studios has been hiring for positions that will work on next-generation AAA titles, and they will also need to have familiarity will third-person action adventure titles as well.
Some new details have recently come to light though, that do not point to the "Batman" Time Warner alluded to in their financial briefing the other day coming from Rocksteady.
Sources in a recent report have stated that the next installment in the "Batman Arkham" series would not be developed by Rocksteady studios and that another studio will be taking over the franchise.
There were some rumblings during last year about a potential "Batman" prequel taking place, which would make sense for another studio to takeover the franchise at that point.
As to when this title will be hitting next-generation systems, not much is known but it looks like it could be coming out sometime within the next financial year for Time Warner.
