Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment has showcased several more elements of the upcoming multiplatform video game, “Batman: Arkham Origins.” According to a report by Gamerant on Aug. 23, the publisher provided a look at a new electric weapon in addition to some of the antagonist from the story at this year’s Gamescom event.
Batman is now able to use an item called the shock gloves. This item is made specifically to fend off against attacks with electricity such as guard batons. Players can absorb the shock from enemies can then use it to defeat the some of the opposition with just one electric hit.
The new assets also focus on several of the main villains in “Batman: Arkham Origins.” One of which is Firefly, an airborne enemy that is equipped with a flamethrower. He previously appeared in the Batman comic books and other media. The other antagonist, Deathstroke, is also featured in the set. “Batman: Arkham Origins” will be released on Oct. 29 in two editions. The standard version features just a copy of the video game while the collector’s edition adds a bunch of in-game and physical extras for twice the price.
