The “Batman: Arkham Knight” release date may have been revealed for the PC, PS4 and Xbox One. According to a report from Kotaku on March 5, the open-world action-adventure video game was officially confirmed to be released sometime later this year.
However, GameStop provided a more specific release date. An online listing from the retailer revealed that “Batman: Arkham Knight” should be released in the North American region on Oct. 14. GameStop also mentioned that the software product is priced at $49.99 on the PC as well as $59.99 on the PS4 and Xbox One.
When asked by Kotaku for a response to the release date listing from the retailer, Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment can only confirm that the newest installment from the “Batman: Arkham” series would be shipping before the end of this year.
“Batman: Arkham Knight” is being developed by Rocksteady Studios, the same studio responsible for “Batman: Arkham Asylum” and “Batman: Arkham City.” The sequel, which will be the last developed by the company, will feature the Batmobile as well as wider streets to accommodate for the car. A new villain will also be introduced to challenge the players.
