The "Batman Arkham Knight" launch details may have been listed by Microsoft Store. According to a report from Cinema Blend on June 22, the retailer revealed that the delayed video game is now slated to come out for the PC and Xbox One on Feb. 24. The PS4 version, which comes the with exclusive Scarecrow missions that were announced at the E3 2014 press conference, should presumably come out at the same time as well.
The "Batman Arkham Knight" release date is interesting considering that it is coming out at the same time as "The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt." Similar to the superhero title, the open-world role-playing game was previously expected to come out this year. However, the development team decided to delay the release of the latest "Witcher" installment into early next year.
The Microsoft Store also revealed a pre-order bonus for the Xbox One version of the newest "Batman Arkham" entry. Customers who reserve the product are going to get a digital code worth $10 for use with the select Microsoft and Xbox online shops. The voucher should remain active until the last day of next year.
Dax Ginn, the brand marketing producer at Rocksteady Studios, stated previously that the development team is trying to make the best game possible when explaining why the "Batman Arkham Knight" release date had to be postponed. The company felt that the last game in the saga should be of top quality while providing an impactful ending at the same time. Rocksteady Studios' next project has not yet been officially announced.
The month of Feb. in 2015 is going to be a busy time for new game releases. Along with the new "Batman" game and "The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt," "The Order 1886" is also slated to come out exclusively for the PS4.
