“Batman: Arkham Knight” was quickly delayed by Rocksteady Studio and Warner Bros. Interactive not long after its planned fall release was announced. The PS4, Xbox One and PC game slipped to 2015 but was not given an exact release date. It looks like that was accidentally revealed Sunday by the Microsoft Store.

The Microsoft Store lists both the Xbox One and PC versions of “Batman: Arkham Knight” with a Feb. 24, 2015 release date. And, for what it’s worth, the Microsoft Store is also offering a digital code for a $10 gift card with the purchase of the game as well.

That’s a slightly different date than Batman voice actor Kevin Conroy accidentally mentioned in a video interview with Grooey.TV. “It was supposed to come out in January, we’ve been working on it for a year and a half, it’s still not done. So it’s going to come out next January, but I know everyone is frustrated. The reason it’s been delayed is because it’s so awesome,” he said.

If the February release date holds true, it suddenly makes the end of that month extremely busy. PS4 exclusive “The Order: 1886” is due out on Feb. 20 with “The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt” sharing the same release date as “Batman: Arkham Knight.” The free-running zombie survival game, “Dying Light” is also scheduled to be released that month but no specific date has been announced. Interestingly, all of those games with the exception of "The Order: 1886" are published by Warner Bros. Interactive.

“Batman: Arkham Knight” takes place approximately one year after “Arkham City” as the Scarecrow has hatched a plan with fellow super-villains Penguin, Two-Face and Harley Quinn to remove the Dark Knight from the equation once and all. Scarecrow’s fear bombs have been planted throughout the city forcing the evacuation of all the citizens. This leaves only Batman, the villains and their henchman and the Gotham City police on the streets.
