When this title is indeed revealed, it will no doubt be an Xbox 720 and PS4 game, but it looks like a third installment in the "Batman Arkham" series is eventually coming.
According to a report from VG24/7 on Friday, "Batman Arkham 3" looks like it could be on its way out soon as inferred from its Facebook page.
Warner Bros. recently changed their "Batman: Arkham Asylum" Facebook page, to a renamed page, "Batman: Arkham City," but now it has been changed to just "Batman: Arkham."
This could be suggesting that a third installment in the "Arkham" series is coming from Warner Bros., even though we all already know a new "Batman" is coming out of the publisher.
Recently, Time Warner’s CFO and chief administrative officer John K. Martin spoke during a financial quarterly report and said they are indeed setting themselves up for another "Batman" release.
"And we also have a strong games release this year, which will include the next release in the 'Batman Arkham' franchise.
"So all in all, we expect Warners to post another very strong year in 2013. And with a little luck, the year should be as good or maybe even a little bit better than 2012," Martin said.
When a new installment is revealed, it will in all likelihood be a next-generation title.
