This concept may seem a little odd right now but it will become clear how certain bathroom accessories can bring new purpose to office space. Everyone is self-conscious these days about giving old items new purpose and recycling. This is a perfect way to utilize some of these items in the office for a new look and reason to hold onto them.
For those families that have redecorated their bathrooms from top to bottom or if you just painted and changed the color scheme have excess items that will no longer fit into the new transformed bathroom. Take these items out that are now replaced with the new room color and bring them into the office area.
A soap dish can be placed on your desk and be used to collect paper clips, thumb tacks or push pins and is perfect to hold business cards.
The small garbage pail can be placed under the desk to hold all the papers that need to be shredded. Of course if you don’t have a small trash can near your desk this is perfect. It doesn’t take up a lot of space, it is easy to empty because it never can get too heavy to handle when full, it adds some color to your area and the bags at the grocery store fit in it perfectly if something messy like pencil shavings are tossed in the can.
Re-purpose the toothbrush holder as a pen and pencil cup. Even if you have another one on your desk already this one will add color, a little style and can be reserved to hold the pens or pencils that are special or write particularly well that you don’t share with the rest of the family.
A small circular towel rod can be attached to the outside or inside of the desk wall. Place a small hand towel on it to keep ready just in case. Most people who are at their desks for long periods of time my find themselves with a cup of coffee or tea, a soda or bottle of water. Although we are always careful accidents can happen in the way of a small spill. The towel will be readily available at your fingertips to absorb the spill instead of grabbing for and wasting half a box of tissues that is sitting in the corner of your desktop.
