Spoilers for episode 6 of “Bates Motel” reveal that Emma is in danger, and there is a difficult situation that Dylan must handle. The Charlotte Observer reports on April 6 that Dylan is not the only one who must deal with problems in the “Plunge” episode.

The A&E show is letting Norman Bates get close to Cody, but are producers simply building up the relationship to destroy it? Meanwhile, Emma has made the mistake of being in a relationship with drug dealer Gunner, and this decision could come back to haunt her because the spoilers imply her life is in danger. The drug ring in White Pine Bay may be an important part of future episodes of the show since eliminating the leaders may be more difficult than expected.

Norma Bates receives some surprising information from Emma about Norman’s blackouts, and this plays a part in the growing tension between them. Viewers already know that Norman can be dangerous during a blackout, and Cody is attempting to deal with his strange behavior while trying to remain safe. This does not change Norma’s opinion of Cody, and the mother still thinks the girl is trouble.

The “Plunge” should reveal a confrontation between Norman and his mother, and it may begin to push him over the edge. His attempt to hide things from her is leading to new consequences, so his relationship with Cody is threatened.
