According to the source, “The Immutable Truth” will feature a tragic event from Norman’s past that will haunt him. Norma attempts to stop Norman from making a terrible mistake. Romero and Dylan will team up to end the drug way. And Emma will be making an important decision about her future. The episode will air on Monday, May 5.

If you missed the synopsis of episodes seven through nine, they are as follows:

“Presumed Innocent” – Cody and Norman’s friendship comes to a breaking point after, judging from the promo, Norman either “accidentally” kills or seriously injures Cody’s dad. This causes Norma to question the faith she has in her son. Dylan isn’t safe yet, a revengeful Zane threatens him. Meanwhile, more trouble for Norman rises when Romero receives new evidence in the murder of Miss Watson.

Episode 8, “Meltdown,” will have Romero digging deeper in the Miss Watson case. The drug war is putting a lot of pressure on Dylan, who makes an impossible choice. Although full of questions, Norman can’t get his mother to tell him the truth about his blackouts.

In “The Box,” episode 9, Norma is desperate to connect with Norman again, who has become distant since recent events. Dylan questions whether he should risk his life for a loved one, while Romero goes to a colleague for help in determining Norman’s involvement in a crime.

“Bates Motel” returns this Monday, April 14, with “Presumed Innocent.” Check out the images in the slideshow for promotional photos. Like us on Facebook and follow us on Twitter to catch the latest spoilers on your newsfeed!
