A new episode of BassWest USA TV with show host Jamie Cyphers hits the airwaves tomorrow. In an interview today, longtime outdoor writer Dan Mathisen released some of the details on BassWest USA TV's Episode 7. Mathisen announced, I’ve already seen the show and what I noticed was a lot of good tips on fishing springtime, transitional bass.”
“This show gave me some different perspectives on targeting pre and post spawn bass in ultra-clear water,” continued Mathisen. “In fact, speaking of clear water, swimbait expert Sean Bailey can be seen fishing Lake Havasu in Ariz. in this one and much of the show discusses this hot technique; but that’s not all. In episode 7 co-host Adam Paul will catch up with California’s fishing legend Don Iovino at Diamond Valley reservoir in Southern California. I really like hearing from Iovino; he is the godfather of utilizing electronics in deepwater fishing and he's not a bad dropshot angler, either. After watching Iovino, it’s a great reminder to see how these ‘roots of western fishing’ still contribute to today’s angling techniques.”
Episode 7 will air on Feb. 7.
