Pickwick Lake Report
At another location, Pickwick Lake, there was another bass report.
Biologists and avid anglers, John Skains and Jimmy Rayburn report fast and furious action for largemouth bass. Skains said,
Dragging Carolina rigs over humps in 15 feet of water was the most productive pattern."
Rayburn added,
They were hitting just about any type of plastic bait we threw.”
The pair were fishing with local angler and Assistant Fisheries Bureau Director, Larry Pugh, who also added,
We landed 35 fish from 2 to 5 pounds and quick-released 20 or so more."
