Basketball Wives” star Evelyn Lozada was quick to move on when her ex-husband head-butted her during a fight last year. She had found a receipt for a condom package in their car after they had dinner, which proved to her that he had been cheating. They had only been married for 41 days. She was quick to leave and essentially went undercover for months. According to a new Wetpaint Entertainment report published on July 1, “Basketball Wives” star Evelyn Lozada’s ex-husband is getting a second chance now.

Of course, the second chance isn’t with Evelyn. She has moved on with Carl Crawford and recently gave birth to their first son together. But the second chance comes in the form of football. When Evelyn was head-butted, Chad was signed on with the Miami Dolphins. However, they let him go because of his criminal act. He was left without a job. But with lots of workouts and practice, he has signed on with the Montreal Alouettes in Canada’s CFL.

Last week when the season started, Ochocinco tweeted a picture where he walked down the hall to the stadium as the game is about to start. “To walk through a tunnel again was indescribable, complacency & comfort made me forget how fickle opportunity is. Thank God for 2nd chances to do what I love once again,” he revealed before the game. Many people had trouble forgiving him for his actions, but it sounds like he is thrilled for his second chance.

In fact, he has been focusing on his career over the past year, and it sounds like it is paying off. Chad and Evelyn have had dinner together since they divorced, but it sounds like they have just moved on from one another completely. One can imagine that she doesn’t want her new son to meet Chad, given what happened between them. Plus, it may be disrespectful to Carl Crawford, her current partner.

Are you surprised that he is playing in Canada now?
