“Basketball Wives” star Evelyn Lozada was the focus of yesterday’s premiere of the show. When fans last saw her, she was planning her wedding to NFL player Chad Ochocinco and she was even choosing him over some friendships. However, after the cameras stopped rolling, she got married and was filing for divorce after 41 days because of the infamous violent altercation. According to a new tweet released on Aug. 20, “Basketball Wives” star Lozada is now revealing that she had a tough time reliving the months after the incident.
“Rough day re-living all this mess, but it's part of my process. I hope & pray my pain can become ur msg. Thanks 4 watching! #Gnight,” she tweeted after the episode aired last night. Many criticized the episode because it was all about Lozada, as the producers wanted to update fans on the situation.
VH1 had created a show that documented the marriage between the two, but it never ended up airing because of the arrest and pending divorce. In other words, the first episode was merely to update people on the situation.
Do you think it was necessary to make the episode all about Lozada and Ochocinco?
