“Basketball Wives” star Evelyn Lozada has been keeping a low profile after announcing that she would become a mother for the second time. She is expecting a son with her boyfriend, Carl Crawford, and it seems that she is super happy these days. Given all of the drama last season, one can imagine that she won’t be returning to the show as a new mother. According to a new Wetpaint Entertainment report published on March 6, “Basketball Wives” star Evelyn Lozada could potentially get a spin-off now that she is soon to be a mother for the second time.
Tami Roman used to be a good friend of Evelyn’s, but now she is speaking out on her behalf. The two girls didn’t get along as the season ended, because they had their differences when it came to some of the co-stars. Tami recently spoke to The Chicago Tribune about the show’s return, and it sounds like Evelyn isn’t really suited for the show.
“Evelyn Lozada is a mommy now,” Tami says. “That part of her life may not necessarily work with the Basketball Wives format.” But just because the show isn’t suited for Evelyn anymore doesn’t mean that she won’t be coming back. “Potentially, she might have a spinoff in the works.” Evelyn has already had a spin-off with her ex-husband Chad, but they divorced before the show had a chance to air.
