Basketball postponements for December 9th

The light snow and freezing drizzle that has hit Eastern Maine has caused slick driving conditions and forced some schools to postpone sporting events scheduled for Monday night.

The Piscataquis community high school (PCHS) Pirates boys basketball team was scheduled to play their season opener at George Stevens.

That trip to Blue hill has been postponed.

Bangor Christian was scheduled to travel to Howland for a boys basketball game against Penobscot Valley high school (PVHS).

That has been postponed.

The Dexter and Foxcroft boys basketball game that was scheduled at Foxcroft Academy has been postponed.

Washington Academy at Narraguagus boys basketball game postponed.

Messalonskee/Brewer boys basketball scheduled to be played at the cross insurance center has also been postponed.

Check with the schools or for future updates on when these games will be made up.
