Another TIFF is now over. New films, Canadian and international premieres, celebrities, fabulous parties – TIFF 2013 had it all, like it does every year. Among celebrities who came to Toronto for TIFF 2013 were Kristen Wiig, Colin Firth, Nicole Kidman, Brad Pitt, Hugh Jackman, Jake Guggenheim, Jason Bateman, Paul Giamatti, Zac Efron, Colin Hanks, Keira Knightley, Jennifer Garner, Matthew McConaughey, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Glenn Close, and many others.
There was a lot going on in Toronto during this year’s TIFF, and one of the events that took place in Toronto during these magical cinema days was the 5th annual Bask-It-Style celebrity gift swag, held by Glo Communications, a PR boutique from Toronto. Bask-It-Style gifted celebrities coming to TIFF with products and services provided by over two dozens of sponsors coming from a whole array of industries – fashion, beauty, publishing, interior design, music, food, winery. This year’s Bask-It-Style event took place at a gorgeous penthouse from Downtown Toronto worth 8 million dollars, with its own inside pool and terrace. The condo is located at 16 Harbour Street, in the very-very heart of Toronto, literally in the vortex of everything (it takes you half an hour to drive to the nearest building).
Bask-It-Style 2013 had also a media day on September 4, and fashion and lifestyle writers from Toronto had an opportunity to come on the spot, to enjoy an amazing panorama of our fabulous city of Toronto from the 54th floor of the building, and to see and try the celebrity gifts for themselves. The gift bag included books, magazines, beauty products, fine food, wine and a whole lot more. We gave full list of the sponsors, and full details of the contents of this year’s Bask-It-Style celebrity gift bag in one of the previous articles dedicated to this event.
Writers Adrienne Kress, Craig Davidson and Peggy Kotsopoulos were on the spot with their new books – Outcast, Cataract City and Kitchen Cures respectively. The manicure booth feaured new generation nails from Kiss & Broadway Nails, and offered sample manicure in bright colors to guests. Conair featured a revolutionary hair lightweight full size dryer. You could taste wine from Wolf Blass, good food from Louianna, gluten-free snacks from All But Gluten. There was a lot going on at Bask-It-Style 2013, all of it exciting. And in the end, when guests were on their way to leave, UNLIMITED Personal Services, the transportation sponsor, provided a superconfy and superclassy Mercedes ride to wherever they wanted. All in all, it was a great way to spend one’s day and we hope celebrities enjoyed their Bask-It-Style gifts.
