Glam Foodies rejoice, one of the hottest restaurants from Miami Beach will turn up the heat in Los Angeles. Barton G. Weiss, renowned restaurateur, hotelier and events impresario, will open an outpost of Barton G. The Restaurant in fashionable West Hollywood. The 1,900-square-foot space, located at 861 North La Cienega Blvd. will reflect Barton’s flair for dramatic presentation, incredible cuisine and innovative cocktails that have made the original Barton G. in Miami Beach famous since its 2002 opening. The kitchen will be helmed by Executive Chef Jeff O’Neill of The Dining Room at The Villa by Barton G., Weiss’s critically acclaimed restaurant within the former Versace Mansion on Miami ’s Ocean Drive.

“ Los Angeles is an extremely exciting food city now with diners looking for something new, and Barton G. The Restaurant will offer them a dining experience unlike anything they have ever seen before,” said Barton G.

The definition of experiential dining, Barton G. The Restaurant is internationally known for its reinterpretations of iconic American dishes featuring innovative, over-the-top presentations. Now, Chef O’Neill—a Culinary Institute of America graduate who trained with Daniel Boulud and Eric Ripert—will add his refined sensibility and technique to the playful, imaginative style that is a Barton G. signature. In addition to the favorite dishes made famous in the South Beach restaurant, like whimsical Lobster Pop Tarts, citrus-spiked Samurai Tuna, and Southern-inspired Gizmo Chicken with grilled peaches, the Los Angeles menu will feature sophisticated new culinary creations devised by Chef O’Neill specifically for the L.A. audience. Acclaimed pastry chef Luis Vasquez has also designed a selection of fantastical desserts for the new location.

As in Miami, Barton G. The Restaurant will showcase a variety of innovative and avant-garde cocktails. Herbal-based recipes are the inspiration, with fruit and vegetable bouillons, infusions, purées and extractions taking the place of traditional cocktail bases.

Designed by Weiss and his creative team, the Los Angeles location of Barton G. The Restaurant will have a sleek, modern feel, yet laid-back California sensibility. Barton we are ready for a delicious visit!
